Trump considers rearranging the seats at his table

The Daily Beast reported that Bannon has vented to White House colleagues about Kushner, calling him a "globalist" and "cuck" - favorite slurs used by the far right.

But Bannon's allies are alarmed by what they view as their clearly diminishing power as Kushner takes on new responsibilities.

Kushner's initial mistake, one knowledgeable source said, was due to the transition's effort to get the forms done quickly.

In February, Saturday Night Live opened with a skit depicting Bannon as the "Grim Reaper" who was now really in charge of the White House, manipulating Alec Baldwin's Trump to pick fights with world leaders and sow chaos.

This is how the ultra-competitive White House workplace functions right now, and there is no reason to think conditions will improve. Cohn acts as Trump's chief economic adviser and Powell is a deputy national security adviser.

Outlets including The New York Times reported that Mr Bannon has considered resigning from the Trump team altogether following the failure of two key policies he is believed to have orchestrated - the travel ban against seven Muslim-majority nations and the repeal and replacement of Obamacare. To minimize potential conflicts of interest in the future, Ms. Trump had transferred her brand's assets into a trust taken care by her brother-in-law, Josh Kushner, and sister-in-law, Nicole Meyer.

It has been discovered that Jared Kushner, son-in-law and senior advisor to President Donald Trump, did not properly disclose "dozens" of meetings with foreign officials.

Here's Joe Scarborough, who was recently accused by Roger Stone of being a media pipeline for Kushner, confirming reports that Bannon threatened to quit over the NSC demotion. After landing in Mar-a-Lago Thursday, Trump huddled for a lengthy briefing from his top national security officials in a secure facility installed at the resort, going over options with Defense Secretary James Mattis, McMaster, and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson. And while officials declined to detail the specific recommendations of Trump's top aides, the strikes that the President ordered reflected a break from the nationalist stance he adopted as a candidate that was driven, in large part, by Bannon's advice. These are the people who claim to be looking out for forgotten workers. While the press has covered it as a personality feud, Bannon allies say the rift is about policy differences.

The administration has "already shaken things up", Trump said. During a recent White House meeting, when the subject of Cohn came up, Bannon reportedly told associates "I love a gunfight".
