Kevin Spacey: Completed Film To Be Shot Again Without Sex Claim Actor

And while Spacey only worked on the film for about two weeks so Plummer's scenes aren't extensive, the team now has a little over a month to shoot and edit this all seamlessly into the finished film, as All the Money in the World is slated for release on December 22nd.

It's not entirely clear how Scott ("Blade Runner") will go about inserting Plummer into Spacey's scenes in such a short amount of time, but some use of digital effects are is good bet. The movie, a possible Oscar contender, was set for a December release, but the conundrum has been over what to do with Kevin Spacey's part in the movie.

Producers hope to release the re-edited film as scheduled. As reports of Spacey's alleged sexual harassment have continued to pile up, we learned earlier this week that Sony was considering pushing All the Money in the World-in which Spacey plays billionaire J.

Plummer "was reportedly Scott's first choice for the role of Getty, but the director was pressured into casting a bigger name", The Guardian reports.

The news follows a wave of sexual assault allegations made against Spacey by over a dozen people, including multiple accusations of assault on underage victims.

Christopher Plummer is set to replace Spacey in the role of J Paul Getty, with reshoots of key scenes expected to start immediately to keep the film's December 22 USA release date.

The decision follows more sexual misconduct allegations against the Oscar-winner from a woman who says he touched her 18-year-old son in MA last year. Unruh held a press conference, explaining her son was 18 years old when Spacey allegedly his genitals.

Spacey's career has been battered in recent weeks following Star Trek actor Anthony Rapp's revelation that he was sexually harassed when he was 14. "But if I did behave then as he describes, I owe him the sincerest apology for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behavior, and I am sorry for the feelings he describes having carried with him all these years".
