Taylor Swift performs 'Ready For It?'

Although Swift previously handled double duty as SNL host and musical guest in 2009, she didn't appear in any sketches during her most recent visit to the series' Studio 8H.

Taylor Swift can't seem to leave the Kanye beef behind as she throws more shots in new song. "Ready for It?" the second single released ahead of Reputation's launch.

Swift - who has made the full transition from country to pop music - still appears to be writing about her love interests, with the track Gorgeous being said to be about new boyfriend Joe Alwyn. It is still very unusual seeing Taylor perform with more of this pop aesthetic with the backup dancers given that we're talking about someone who started out talking about teardrops on her guitar.

When she took to the stage for a second time, her fixation with snakes continued wearing a sweatshirt embellished with one on it. Ready For It? before later returning to croon Call It What You Want. Martha Hunt tweeted, "Can we talk about #TaylorOnSNL Those moves and that high note!"

Swift herself saw the report thanks to her family members in the area and made sure to alert Hettiger to her approval via social media. The song that details this fall-out is titled "This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things", and she explains her side in verse two.
